Lois brings more than 40 years of experience in handling commercial real estate and business transaction issues. She joined the firm in late 2000. Her practice covers all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including representation of institutional investors, developers and financial institutions in the negotiation, documentation and closing of commercial transactions. Her experience also includes business transactions involving transfers of equity interests and assets in private or closely held companies, development rights transactions, structuring development entities, foreclosures and workouts, leasing, GSA leasing, and commercial construction contracts. For 24 years prior to joining Friedlander Misler, Lois was at the D.C. law firm Wilkes Artis. Lois is a past Co-Chair of the D.C. Bar’s Real Estate Section. She served as an Editor of the Law Review at George Mason University Law School.
