Jennifer is a member in the firm’s Real Estate and Commercial Transactions practice groups. While the majority of her practice is focused on representing borrowers in a variety of commercial real estate transactions, she also counsels clients on acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing matters.
Prior to joining the firm, she was the Research Assistant to Professor Frank S. Alexander (Sam Nunn Professor of Law, Emory University School of Law) where she was responsible for researching recent developments in real estate and foreclosure laws relevant to the State of Georgia. This information appeared in the 2014-2015 update of Georgia Real Estate Finance and Foreclosure Law.
Jennifer was also a Legal Extern with the United States Housing and Urban Development (Atlanta, GA) in its Office of Program Services. In that position, she researched HUD rules, regulations and issues related to asset management, public housing, community development and construction law. Additionally, she conducted due diligence in connection with the closing of commercial development projects and multi-family FHA-insured loans.
