David M. Astrove

David is a Managing Member of Friedlander Misler. He became Principal in 2004 after joining the firm as Of Counsel in 1997. He has more than 30 years of experience representing clients in sophisticated real estate, corporate and finance related matters on all sides of a transaction, from buyers, sellers and lenders, to borrowers, investors and syndicators. His experience includes financings, acquisitions, joint ventures, mergers, partnerships, leases, development and venture capital transactions, operating agreements, licensing, and commercial condominiums, hotels and shopping malls. David has worked with clients such as national banks, individuals, institutional investors, family businesses, real estate investment trusts, foreign investors, start-up companies, as well as acting as local counsel to out of state firms.

Along with being a member of the American Bar Association, he has an active role in the stewardship of several organizations. David is an officer of the Washington Hebrew Congregation and a board member of two local charities, Food & Friends, Inc. and the Garden of Remembrance.
