Our real estate leasing division has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial leasing. Landlord Representation
We provide full-service leasing representation to various types of owners and agents –pension funds/pension fund advisors, REITs, private investment funds, overseas investors, broker/managers, private owners, banks, insurance companies – for office, mixed-use, retail and industrial complexes located throughout the United States. We understand each lease transaction is unique and plays a key role in helping the client achieve strategic objectives. In addition to the negotiation of individual leases and ancillary leasing documents we help coordinate the overall development, leasing and management plans for the property, including the negotiation of commissions, listing agreements and management agreements, work letters and construction and architect contracts.
Our legal team regularly works with landlords that lease to federal government agencies in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and we have in-depth knowledge of the regulatory requirements and bidding process associated with government leases. Drawing upon our substantial experience in GSA-related leases and property management, we help our commercial clients secure these lucrative contracts.
Tenant Representation
We represent retail tenants, commercial and office space users, and industrial and warehouse space occupants in leases of all sizes, from a small boutique retail space to an entire industrial park. We have represented tenants in single transactions as well as portfolio-wide representation. Our attorneys work closely with our tenant clients to understand their day-to-day operations so that we may proactively represent the particular needs of their business.
